Hwy 17 closure near Pattullo for rail work
Planned work means a stretch of Highway 17 will be closed in both directions for 24 hours this weekend.
The highway will be shut just west of the Pattullo Bridge in Surrey starting at 5 a.m. Sunday as crews make repairs to Southern Railway of British Columbia tracks in the area.
According to Fraser Crossing Constructors GP, drivers will be detoured at Bridgeview Drive and Tannery Road.
It adds signage will be posted to let people know about the closure and alternate routes.
