October is finally here (though we started Halloween back in August here in Orlando), and Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs, already famous for its eerie atmosphere, is celebrating the spookiest time of the year in style with some (returning) monstrous treats.
Frankenstein Cookie – $6
The Frankenstein is a returning favorite. Each bite includes a dark chocolate cookie, double stuffed Oreos, and M&Ms. The chocolate is the perfect amount and is not overpowering. This cookie would pair perfectly with a peanut butter cold brew.
Bride Cookie – $6
The Bride of Frankenstein cookie is perfect for the white chocolate lover. Otherwise, it’s the same as the Frankenstein. Both are great choices.
Gideon’s Bakehouse is a popular quick-service cookie and coffee shop in The Landing section of Disney Springs. It’s usually open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with long lines of guests hoping to try their unique and giant cookies.
Each month, Gideon’s offers a limited-edition cookie and collectible menu.
Gideon’s Bakehouse limits guests to purchasing seven cookies per person when visiting a shop. Since these cookies weigh approximately half a pound each, that’s roughly a three pound cookie limit.
They also offer cake slices and nitro cold brews.
