A New Jersey chain popular for its halal hot chicken is opening another restaurant.
Namkeen Hot Chicken will unveil its latest location in Metuchen on Sunday, Oct. 1
The new spot’s address is 410 Main St.
“Our journey to Metuchen has been three years in the making, and we’re thrilled to finally open our doors to the community that’s been patiently waiting,” Usman Chaudhry, co-founder of Namkeen Hot Chicken, said.
The Metuchen spot is Namkeen’s third location and its first to offer a dine-in experience.
The company made its debut in Chatham in 2020 and followed up with an opening in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Namkeen is known for adding its Pakistani twist on Nashville-style hot chicken.
The eatery serves Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, a Nashville chicken and waffle sandwich, chicken tikka mac & cheese, hot chicken and waffles, dhamaka fries, masala fries and more Pakistani-inspired hot chicken twists.
Its menu also offers smash burgers, masala fries, grilled cheese and coleslaw.

Namkeen Hot Chicken is opening its third location at 410 Main St. in Metuchen, N.J. on Oct. 1.
