Tropical Storm ‘Idalia’ Could Impact Your Disney World Trip

If you plan on heading to Central Florida this week, you will want to keep tabs on Tropical Storm Idalia heading into the Gulf of Mexico. The National Hurricane Center predicts that tropical-storm-force winds will begin hitting the central Florida area on Tuesday, according to the image below.

The storm is expected to become a hurricane prior to making landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida. If you have travel plans during the next week, it is recommended that you check with your airline and follow any advisories closely.
