‘Still Up’ Trailer: Antonia Thomas & Craig Roberts Star In British Insomniac Comedy
We’re getting the first look at British insomniac comedy Still Up, from I May Destroy You producer Various Artists Limited. Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the upcoming series starring The Good Doctor alum Antonia Thomas and Red Oaks‘ Craig Roberts as two best friends who just can’t get a good night’s sleep.
“Haven’t slept in about two months,” says Thomas’ Lisa. “Chronic insomnia.” Adds a frustrated Roberts’ Danny: “Hypnotism. Acupuncture. None of it works.”
Co-created by and written by Steve Burge and Natalie Walter, Still Up is described as an “almost romantic comedy set in the after-hours world of insomniacs Danny (Roberts) and Lisa (Thomas) who have no secrets except their feelings for each other.” Also starring in the ensemble cast are Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston and Rich Fulcher.
BAFTA Award nominee John Addis directs and Bryce Hart also writes on the series. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Various Artists Limited, and is executive produced by BAFTA winner Paul Schlesinger and Emmy winner Phil Clarke. Arabella McGuigan serves as producer.
The eight-episode Still Up premieres globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Friday, September 22, followed by new episodes every Friday through October 27.
