Cast Member Previews Announced for EPCOT’s New Moana Attraction
I’ve been staring at the edge of [the Journey of Water construction] long as I can remember…
Yep, we’ve been waiting for what seems like FOREVER to experience the all-new Moana attraction coming to EPCOT later this year — so long that we remixed the song. All we know so far is that the attraction will open to the public in Fall 2023. However, we might’ve just gotten a hint on how soon the attraction will be ready!
Disney World Cast Members were notified via The HUB (their online workspace) that they would be able to sign up for Cast Member previews of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana starting August 22nd.
Based on this news, we can expect the attraction to open shortly after, most likely in September or early October. However, Disney could always surprise us!
We’re so excited to experience this new attraction and see the ways in which the Imagineers will showcase the water cycle through the Moana storyline.
